We have human collagen and will have hyaluronic acid fillers available.
What is the cost for a dermal filler?
Cosmoplast $350 per 1cc syringe
Juvaderm $500 per 1cc syringe
What are indications for dermal fillers?
Deep lines that are present on face without expression, known as static lines. Forehead, glabella, nasolabial folds, and lips are common areas for injection.
What type of Collagen Fillers?
We carry Cosmoplast which is human collagen that is very thick and lasts between 2-4months.This can be injected anywhere on the face except the glabella. It gives results instantly and is a great filler to use for those patients who are trying a filler for the first or second time and not sure if they want a permanent or long lasting filler.
Are collagen injections painful?
The syringe is prefilled with lidocaine, which is a numbing solution, so usually the injection can be tolerated with that alone. We do have ice packs available prior to injection.
How long do they last?
2-4 months
Side Effects?
Bruising, swelling, and bleeding may occur.
What type of hyaluronic acid filler does your office offer?
Juvaderm
How long does it last?
6-9 months
Can it be injected anywhere?
Yes, however if lip injections desired it will require a dental block where the doctor injects lidocaine in upper and lower mouth to reduce the pain involved with injection.
Is it painful?
The most painful injection with Juvaderm is the lip injection, which is why we require a dental block, but other areas are usually tolerated with an ice pack prior to injection.
Side Effects?
Bruising, swelling, itching, and bleeding may occur at site of injection. Sometimes a lumpy touch can be palpated with fingers after injection.
